Combining developments made in the fields of smart ageing and smart city, a people-centric ‘’Double Smart’’ approach to tackling the ‘’Double Ageing’’ of population and building stock has the potential to better tend to the different needs of various individuals and stakeholders, drawing on the power of social innovation to offer cities the opportunity to become more sustainable and liveable. Our keynote speakers from Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and beyond will share their insights, practice and experience from their contributions to social innovation projects that align with the double smart approach.
